An arrest warrant was issued today for a man wanted in connection with an Orland Park home invasion last week that resulted in the self-inflicted death of a suspect in Indiana, police said.
Bridgeview Circuit Court Associate Judge Carmen Aguilar issued a $350,000 arrest warrant for Warren Lamont Hunter, 31, of Gary, according to Orland Park Police Chief Timothy McCarthy.
Hunter is charged with participating in the armed robbery and shooting at the Orland Park home just before 3 a.m. on May 10. Hunter is suspected in the crime along with 27-year-old Anthony Espinoza, who was found dead with a self-inflicted gunshot wound in an East Chicago home hours later, officials said. In addition to Hunter and Espinoza, two other people are being sought in the home invasion, police said today.
