Congress has always declared May 15th week as National Police Week and asks the Nations Flag be flown at Half-Staff on the 15th of May 2013

Gentlemen/Ladies;     

         In order to honor the Law Enforcement Agencies of the USA, Congress has always declared May 15th week as National Police Week and asks the Nations Flag be flown at Half-Staff on the 15th.     Yes, This is a Federal Legislative Public Law 103-322  and I would ask you to call upon these Illinois municipalities to follow this patriotic observance.     Besides the 'blue ribbon' observance to honor the active and deceased members of this honorable profession, the flag at its mourning position would show the citizenry that they are "always guarded".
